Terms of service
The working agreement between attendee and the organizers who use it, in plain language. This draft will be replaced by the formal document before general availability.
Plain-language draft
The service
attendee provides event-ticketing software: event pages, checkout, ticket delivery, door apps, and financial reporting. Organizers are responsible for their events — their content, their compliance, and their obligations to their buyers.
Payments
Card payments are processed through the organizer’s own Stripe account under Stripe’s terms. attendee charges its software fee per paid ticket as published on the pricing page. Refunds are issued by organizers from their own accounts.
Acceptable use
No fraudulent events, no resale of the service, no use that breaks the law or Stripe’s terms. We can suspend accounts that put buyers’ money or data at risk.
Liability
The service is provided as-is during the beta period. Our liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months. We are not a party to the transaction between organizers and their buyers.
Changes
We will give notice before material changes to these terms or to pricing, and continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
Optional ticket-link text messages
Attendee Events LLC offers optional transactional ticket-link texts to US mobile numbers where this option is available. By adding your US mobile number in the checkout field labeled for ticket-link texts and completing that order, you consent to receive one text from attendee containing a secure link to your order confirmation and tickets. This program does not send recurring promotional or marketing messages.
Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Leave the phone field blank to receive tickets by email without opting in to texts. Agreeing to these terms or to email marketing does not itself provide SMS consent. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out of texts from that number. You may receive a confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or email sam@attendee.events. Opting out does not cancel your order or stop ticket delivery by email. Message delivery depends on your carrier and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our Privacy policy explains how we process mobile numbers, messages, and consent records. We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS consent records or share them with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent applies to the requested order, not to unrelated messages from attendee or an organizer.
