Two companion apps work the night: a scanner that admits people faster than they can get their phones out, and a box office that turns any phone into a register. Both feed the same roster and the same ledger as your online sales.

A scanner that doesn't blink.

Point it at a QR code — from email, wallet pass, or a printout — and the answer is instant and unambiguous: admitted, already used, or not valid, with the name and ticket type on screen. Duplicate scans are caught, and the door count updates live on every device working the event.

It's engineered for scale: rosters in the tens of thousands scan without a stutter, because the person at position 40,000 in line deserves the same half-second as the first.

Walk-ups buy at the door: pick tickets, take a card with Tap to Pay on the phone itself, or take cash and let the app keep the drawer honest. Every door sale settles to your Stripe account and lands in the same ledger as online orders — one set of numbers at the end of the night.

From one phone to enterprise kit.

Start with the phone in your pocket. When the door gets bigger, add a Stripe Reader M2 for high-volume card lines, or run dedicated Zebra wedge scanners where gloves, rain, and twelve-hour shifts are part of the job. Same apps, same roster, heavier armor.
